Financial Aid
Ontario Student Assistance Program
The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) helps eligible Ontario residents with the cost of their post-secondary education. Whether planning to attend a college, university, university-college, public institute or private training school, students have access to provincially and federally funded loans, grants, bursaries, scholarships and special programs.
Most of Ontario's student financial programs are need-based, providing assistance when students and their immediate families do not have the resources to meet the costs of full- and part-time education and basic living expenses. However, assistance based on academic merit or designed for special student groups is also available.
OSAP administers programs on behalf of the Government of Ontario and of Canada, including Canada Student Loans, Canada Study Grants, Canada Access Grants and the Millennium Bursary.
